Business Fortress credits - what are they?

Most times a change to a website (or task) will take us at least 35 minutes to 1 hour. What may seem like a 5-minute job is actually a task with a number of components that can take time to get right. Below is an example of a general website task for one of our valued clients.


Our general process for making changes to a website is a little like this :
1. First, an email or phone call comes to us from you, the customer with your task. Generally we reply on the same day with a quick question to make sure we have the correct information in mind before we start
2. We then open your customer file with website access information and open up to the heart of the website to work on the files
3. After we have finished, we test the changes on the Apple macintosh and PC browser to make sure everything is correct
4. On the same day we advise you by email or phone and if we don’t hear a reply follow up to make sure all is correct
5. Then, maybe you feel the change needs refining and we work further again the next day
6. This process is equivalent to one credit, or one hours' work


** Each task is of course treated individually; we keep track of your credits so we can advise you on timeframe before we begin the task. If we feel the task will take longer than one hour we will advise you before we start. We are also happy to roll in a number of tasks to one credit if we feel they can be made at the same time (for example uploading images and making a website change while we are in the server).


What type of pricing am I looking at?

The general pricing is exactly the same as you have come to know up until now, the time-critical pricing is new, and we want to be sure we are available for you when you need it the most. Payment for Business Fortress credits is by payment in advance so have a think and discuss with us what your general usage of our services for tasks has been to date and we will advise on the best package for your business.

• Sentry credits : 3-5 days wait period : 1 hr labour/1 task: €25
• Gate Master credits : 24 hour waiting period : 1 hr labour/1 task: €45
• Keep Master credits : 12 hour waiting period : 1 hr labour/1 task: €150
• Knight Rider credits : 1 hr waiting period : 1 hr labour/1 task: €235 : 24-hour phone line available


** Payment for these credits can be made via Paypal, cheque or bank transfer.


Our management packs are mixable allowing you, the website owner and visionary to buy one or two types of credits and a couple more of another to complete a mixed management plan.


Business Fortress scenarios :

I need a phone number changed on my website before Monday and in about 1 months’ time will need to update some images on my site This is our most general request : 1 reasonably time-critical task (telephone number) and 1 non-critical task.
Our suggestion : 1 Gate Master credit and 1 Sentry credit over the period of one month. Use this time to ask us to update a few more images during your Gate Master period to make it the most cost-efficient

I have a new employee starting tomorrow and they need an email account setup, information on our website and some retouches to their staff photo.
Running a business places all forms of challenges in your path and this is one of them. This situation has a 12 hour maturation period and you can afford to breathe and make sure all details are correct if we are offline at the time.

I have the new Annual Report that has been received today from the copywriter but I am away from desk until next week. I need this online in time for tomorrows board meeting. Can you upload this and make a nice web-page button for my board to click and download it ?
This is critical, a file upload and a prominent link, we may have to change the website page, optimise the document for web-loading and design a download button.

When does this service come into effect?

As of 16 July, 2008 the Business Fortess system of making website changes is in effect. Our aim is to bring our standard of service to you up one more level with the Business Fortress service and fulfill your expectations and needs as they arise.
